Perfection is not the answer. Nothing is perfect, neither are you, and you never can be. The best you can do is be yourself, if they don't love you for who you are, and what you have they can get FCUEKD. So i don't think you should put yourself through it anymore, if it's meant to be they'll want you back, if it's not don't try and force it. I hate seeing you sad cause your normally all bubbly, but yeah. You need to do what's best for you.
